韭 菜 芭 城 隍 庙 所 奉 祀 的 是“ 清 溪 显 佑 伯 主 ”， 渊 源 自 中 国 福 建 省 安 溪 县 城 隍 庙 之“ 清 溪 显 佑 伯 主” 第 五 副 身。 1918 年， 安 溪 城 隍 庙 的 主 持 法 师 偕 同 县 城 下 西 街 闻 人 谢 礼 文 秀 才 恭 奉“ 城 隍 五 舍 身”（ 即 伯 主 第 五 副 身）， 前 来 新 加 坡。 他 们 回 返 安 溪 时 将 圣 像 留 下， 安 奉 在 克 力 路（CRAIG ROAD） 张 乌 文 先 生 和 张 简 先 生（ 均 已 故） 的 戏 馆 内。 数 年 后， 张 又 伙 同 先 贤 陈 秋 来 先 生、 陈 国 清 先 生（ 均 已 故） 等 把 金 身 搬 迁 至“ 凤 梨 山” 的 天 公 坛（ 即 现 在 的 翡 珑 山 路 海 星 中 学 附 近） 安 奉。 1926 年， 受 树 胶 翻 种 计 划 影 响 ， 部 分 村 民 被 分 配 到 巴 西 班 让 八 英 里 一 带 重 建 家 园， 村 民 们 也 把“ 显 佑 伯 主” 的 香 火， 分 灵 到 新 芭（ 俗 称 杨 桃 园）建 庙 奉 祀。1975 年，地 方 又 受 国 家 发 展 计 划 影 响，当 局 分 配 班 丹 花 园 地 段 予 以 重 建，1977 年 开 始 动 工，1980 年7 月 新 庙 落 成， 这 就 是 现 在 的“ 杨 桃 园 城 隍 庙”。 1938 年 太 平 洋 战 争 期 间，“ 凤 梨 山” 一 带 为 英 军 兵 营 基 地， 许 多 家 园 连 同“ 显 佑 伯 主” 庙 址 均 受 到 影 响。 当 局 于 是 分 配 罗 弄 韭 菜（LORONG KOO CHYE）以 东 一 块 地 段， 俗 称“ 韭 菜 芭”， 安 顿 受 影 响 的 村 民。 庙 宇 方 面， 由 先 贤 陈 秋 来 负 责 向 当 局 办 理 重 建 手 续， 庙 既 建 竣， 陈 秋 来 便 成 为 庙 宇 的 主 管。 这 就 是“ 韭 菜 芭 城 隍 庙” 的 由 来。 1942 年 日 军 侵 占 新 加 坡，“ 韭 菜 芭” 作 为 攻 击 目 标， 日 军 机 无 法 投 弹 而 轰 炸 不 成， 村 民 因 之 幸 免 于 难。 为 感 戴 伯 主 庇 荫 之 恩 德， 民 众 纷 纷 进 庙 叩 谢 鸿 恩， 香 火 极 一 时 之 盛。 1956 年， 年 久 失 修 的 城 隍 庙 获 得 重 修。 随 着 新 庙 的 建 竣， 各 种 庆 典 活 动 也 越 来 越 热 烈， 尤 其 是“ 显 佑 伯 主” 圣 诞 庆 典， 信 众 聘 请 潮 剧 与 芗 剧 酬 答 神 恩 的 热 情 倍 加 高 涨， 演 期 从 早 期 的 两 天 增 加 到 一 个 多 月。 1978 年， 政 府 征 用 韭 菜 芭 大 片 地 段， 城 隍 庙 再 次 面 临 搬 迁 的 命 运。 为 维 护 神 庙 的 权 益， 成 立 了 一 个 由 理 事 组 成 的 联 络 小 组， 负 责 处 理 庙 宇 的 工 作。 与 此 同 时，“ 韭 菜 芭 城 隍 庙 联 谊 会” 的 注 册 工 作 也 相 继 进 行：1981 年 元 月 准 备 文 件，4 月 间 呈 报 社 团 注 册 局，8 月11 日 获 准 注 册。9 月12 日 举 行 成 立 会 员 大 会， 并 通 过 一 议 案， 即 凡 韭 菜 芭 中 元 会 的 理 事， 均 为 当 然 发 起 人， 或 可 申 请 成 为 普 通 会 员。 1983 年 中， 选 定 巴 耶 礼 岜 的 阿 鲁 姆 甘 路（ARUMUGAM ROAD） 靠 左 边 的 地 段 作 为 庙 宇 重 建 之 地， 遂 与 凤 玄 宫 联 合 办 理 有 关 手 续。1984 年7 月30 日 成 立“ 新 庙 建 筑 小 组” 成 员 有 孙 雅 度、 陈 树 禄( 已 故)、 陈 添 德、 陈 树 金、 陈 福 孙（ 已 故）、 陈 树 海 及 陈 泽 虎。“ 城 凤 联 合 庙” 也 于 此 时 注 册。 1986 年 7 月 ，新 庙 的 建 造 工 程 全 面 展 开。 是 年9 月30 日（ 农 历 丙 寅 年 八 月 二 十 七 日）， 恭 迎 诸 神 像 迁 入 新 址 安 奉 于 临 时 搭 建 的 神 坛。 经 过 约 两 年 的 时 间， 新 庙 内 部 各 殿 的 工 程 已 完 成，1988 年6 月2 日（ 农 历 戊 辰 年 五 月 十 五 日） 举 行 诸 神 升 座 点 眼 仪 式， 并 在 庙 内 增 设 光 明 灯 两 座， 征 求 善 信 为 会 员。 1988 年 8 月30 日 起， 庙 务 管 理 由 林 成 昌 移 交 联 谊 会 行 施，联 谊 会 旋 即 进 行 会 务 整 顿， 改 革 庙 务。1989 年6 月， 全 部 庙 宇 建 造 工 程 完 成。1992 年 又 进 行 第 二 期 工 程 即 修 建 行 政 楼 的 筹 划，1993 年8 月13 日 动 工，95 年6 月 完 成 了 三 层 楼 的 基 建 与 装 修 工 作， 嗣 后 又 加 盖 了 第 四 层。 1997 年11 月29 日 至12 月6 日（ 农 历 丁 丑 年 十 月 三 十 日 至 十 一 月 初 七 日）， 为 庆 祝“ 清 溪 显 佑 伯 主” 奉 祀 八 十 周 年 纪 念 暨 重 建 新 庙 落 成， 举 行 了 盛 大 的 庆 典 活 动。庆 典 活 动 共 分 四 大 项 目： 一、11 月29 日（ 农 历 十 月 卅 日） 举 行 迎 驾 点 眼， 诸 神 晋 殿、 升 座 及 安 宫 大 典； 二、 11 月 30 日（ 农 历 十 一 月 初 一 日） 敦 请 我 国 马 林 百 列 社 区 市 长 兼 国 会 副 议 长 叶 尧 清 先 生 为 新 落 成 的 庙 宇 及 行 政 楼 主 持 揭 幕 仪 式； 丽日下，鼓声中，本会理事迎接马林百列社理会市长叶尧清先生莅临 。 叶市长主持揭碑典礼，也象征本庙进入另一个里程碑。 三 、 举 行 为 期 五 天 的“ 太 上 覃 恩 护 国 佑 民 阴 阳 普 利 福 世 大 法 会”， 由 台 湾 芦 洲 护 天 宫 地 母 庙、 中 国 福 建 省 安 溪 县 城 隍 庙 及 新 加 坡 混 元 道 坛 联 合 建 醮； 四 、 12 月 6 日（ 农 历 十 一 月 初 七 日） 举 行“ 城 隍 庙之 夜” 庆 典 晚 宴。 海 外 多 个 道 教、 佛 教 团 体 也 应 邀 前 来 观 礼。 他 们 是： 中 国 道 教 协 会、 上 海 市 道 教 协 会、 河 北 省 道 教 协 会、 江 西省 龙 虎 山 天 师 府、 湖 北 省 武 当 山 道 教 协 会、 台 湾 中 华 道 教 协 会、 台 湾 芦 洲 护 天 宫 管 委 会、 福 建 省 安 溪 县 东 岳 寺 城 隍 庙 管 委 会。 庆 典 活 动 之 后， 出 版 了 特 刊 以 资 纪 念。而 今，历 尽 沧 桑 的“ 韭 菜 芭 城 隍 庙”， 以 崭 新 的 姿 态 迈 入 二 十 一 世 纪。
