The company first started in 1994 in the far corner of town at Tanglin Mall, where it sold music CD to a special group of customer who are looking for good music to suit their listening pleasure.
It was know as a leader in introducing the latest trends and genres of music to the Singapore public for new music experiences. With a reputation for good service provided by the company’s music consultants. That CD Shop expanded rapidly and today it is the biggest retailer of music CD in Singapore with shops located in the best shopping areas around Orchard and Marina Bay Sands.
Beginning in 2005, the company started to produce works under its own High Society record label. These recording albums were done in partnership with the big 4 music labels, Universal Music, Sony BMG, Warner and EMI.
To date, more than 150 titles of High Society music CD have been produced and they have achieved 3 Double Platinum, 11 Platinum and 26 Gold awards in sales presented by Universal Music,Sony BMG Music, Warner and EMI Music. In 2010 the company was awarded as one of the top SME 500 Company in Singapore, as well as The Singapore Promising Brand Award.
